Junk Yard Cats
Partnering with local charities we aim to raise awareness of the plight of street cats worldwide; sponsoring TNR & Vaccination programmes, assisting with transportation, finding foster & forever homes, arranging emergency medical care & acting as flight buddies. We provide social media presence to tell the stories these valuable charities do as well as undertake fundraising. Our aim is to build a network of people & organizations that support street animals. Many of the countries we work in have inadequate foster care for sterilization, recovery from emergency medical procedures and in preparation for homing overseas, solving this is a top priority!
Junk Yard Cats partnered with Nine Lives Aruba Foundation in January to raise funds to bring supplies to the foundation to assist with the care of their cats & dogs. We were also able to flight partner 4 kittens to Boston, Mass to forever homes. Many of their cats and dogs find forever homes in the States and they are always looking for people returning to the US to flight partner these animals to foster & forever homes.
Calvia Cats
Supporting Street Cats in Mallorca, Spain
Calvia Cats assists with TNR on the island as well as fostering kittens and seeking forever homes for those cats who are adoptable. Calvia Cats also assists in the care of local feral colonies. The first 3 letters of fundraising are FUN and Calvia Cats run fun events to help support the local cats and rescue homes on the island.
sos dubrovnik cats
The plight of the street cats in Dubrovnik is dire. Sos dubrovnik cats was set up over a decade ago to help with the over burgeoning cat populations. They fund a massive TNR programme & run 2 annual trips to assist the year round work. They fundraise to pay for emergency medical care as well as routine flea & worming treatment. There are local ladies who assist this ongoing challenge.
